Thursday, September 12

In Town Show 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm.............................................................10.00

TBA will host our appreciation show for the ICWDC members and friends. Local awards will be given and ICWDC Members of the Year will be announced.


Friday, September 13

Hospitality (Host Hotel) 12 - 4 pm

Will Call (Host Hotel) 2-4pm and 6 - 8 pm

Cocktail Reception (Host Hotel) 7 - 8:30 pm

The Host Hotel's renowned Fire and Sage Restaurant and Lounge, will be site of the kick off party for the weekends festivities. We invite you to enjoy hors d'oeuvres and of course a few cocktails as we welcome Court Members from across North America to Coronation Weekend in DC.

Crowns on the Town 8:30 pm – 2:30 am..............................................25.00

Two events in one! We board our chartered motor coaches and travel to some of the best of DC's Nightlife. The first two stops will feature our Out of Town Show, which will showcase the amazing talent of the Imperial Court System. Performance order will be out of town Reigning Monarchs, Past Monarchs and others as time allows. Music will be accepted at Will Call beginning at 6pm. Your ticket includes transportation and admission to all bars on the Bar Tour.

Our hosts for the evening are the United Courts of Texas at stop one Remingtons, TBA at stop two Phase I Dupont. Finally the evening culminates in the beef buffet you have all been waiting for as we end the evening with the men of Ziegfelds and Secrets.


Saturday, September 14

Hospitality 10 am – 3 pm

Emperors Garden Party (Hillwood Museum) 11 am – 2 pm.......................25.00

Join us for the second annual Emperors Garden party at the fabulous estate of Marjorie Merriweather Post, often called the American Empress. Showcased in her estate is the largest private collection of Russian Imperial Art, including many of Faberge's finest works created for the Czars family. http://www.hillwoodmuseum.org/ Your ticket price includes transportation to the estate and admission to Gay Day, their annual celebration of "Where Fabulous Lives" for our community. Don your best garden party hat/attire and join in the fun. From cocktails on the lawn, to dancing to the sounds of DC Swing, exploring Ms Post's closet and treasures room  and finally the crowning of the first Emperor and Empress of Hillwood. Not to be missed.

Coronation II “Gala of the Americas” 7 – 11 pm.......................VIP 150.00 (includes VIP reception), General Admission 100.00

The main event, the celebration of the completion of our Reign I and the stepping down of Emperor Fidel Morin. The evening will end with the crowning of our new Monarchs for Reign II in an amazing display of pagentry, you will be talking about for weeks.

Please keep in mind that for the comfort of all of our coronation guests we ask that all attendees be appropriately attired for a formal evening in the Nations Capital.  No confetti or coronation fliers will be allowed in the ballroom on Saturday night.  Please feel free to place your coronation/event fliers in our hospitality suite and at the Victory Brunch on Sunday morning.

Awards will be presented for Best Male in Theme, Best Female in Theme and Best Court Entrance in Theme.

 

Sunday, September 15

Awards Brunch (Bistro-Bistro) 11 am – 2 pm.....................................40.00

This is not your typical brunch by any means! Enjoy what Nicole referred to as "the best brunch on the Court Circuit" with free flowing mimosas and endless food choices from eggs benedict to prime rib, to steamed shrimp, to smoked salmon... Then finish off with a trip to the incredible desert station and maybe one more of those great mimosas.

Kentucky Party and Victory Show 3 – 6 pm

The Imperial Court of Kentucky hosts a party, to end all parties at TBA. This wild and crazy event will include a fundraiser for the ICWDC Monarchs Travel Fund and oh yes and few more beefy dancers.

All fees and payments are due with the delivery of advertisement copy, or by space deadline, whichever comes first. Protocol

Protocol will be accepted on Saturday, September 14 from Noon til 1:00pm only.

Imperial Court of Washington DC adheres to the one walk rule with your highest ranking title.  Titles bestowed by Queen Mother of the Americas, Nicole the Great and Jose I, the Widow Norton will be allowed.

All other titles will be red-lined as will affiliations with houses and societies.

There will be no greetings, no regrets or ball announcements.  Personal titles (such as the Purple Passion Emperor) will be limited to monarchs only.  Please note, NO dynastic names will be allowed. We ask that you use the name that you are customarily introduced with at your own court functions. If you have more than two last names, pick your two favorites. :)

The Imperial Court of Washington DC reserves the right to edit protocol as necessary and the final decision is that of our Mistresses of Protocol… Empress Bebe and Empress Crystal of Texas.  They have big Red Pens and they know how to use them.
